We are delighted to announce that our latest collaboration is with inspirational solo percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie.
Dame Evelyn has teamed up with Papworth Trust to create a ‘Together We Can’ garden for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2016. The garden reflects Dame Evelyn’s passion and ability and was particularly motivated by her fascination with the ‘sea music’ produced by the women of the Vanuatu Islands, who create incredible rhythmic songs with just their hands, water and voices.
Black Dress Code has worked with Dame Evelyn to create a bespoke outfit for the occasion. We have created a classic jumpsuit that is comfortable, feminine and suitable for a live performance. The acoustic garden contains water features, so we made sure that the material we used will not be affected by any contact with water. We look forward to sharing our design with you very soon!
